F-element separation chemistry


The search for new extraction systems for the separation of f-elements in the nuclear fuel cycle is an acute problem for the real closing of nuclear fuel cycle. We  investigate properties of new extractants for the selective extraction of americium from high-level waste: determine the influence of various parameters on extraction efficiency and separability, determine extraction mechanisms, extractant radiation stability, as well as structures of f-element-extractant complexes.
